Paphos sea caves






We are now going to watch the Paphos Sea Caves
The Sea caves of the city of Paphos are located near the village of Peyia. They are between the beach of Laurou and the beach of St. George of Peyia. The sea caves are accessible to be visited by car. The Geology of the area is very interesting as you can see, with a rocky structure. It is unexplored area with caves surrounding the bay. You can easily walk along the cliffs and enjoy the view from the birds that come and visit this area such as pigeons, crows, owls, blackbirds and thrushes as well as the marine biology of the sea below. Also there is a little vegetation of marine shrubs surrounding the coast. It is said that in the past the Mediterranean seals (Monachus monachus) used to use the sea caves as a visiting area and as a habitat.
