Cape Greco sea caves
We are now going to watch the Sea caves of cape greco
The sea caves of cape Greco or locally called Cavo Greco are located in Ayia Napa in the city of Famagusta. These caves are also called palace caves. There are 3 ways in order to visit this sea caves; you can either drive there, or walk a 4.5 km nature trail from the main area of cape Greco, other people prefer to go there by a boat. It is an unspoiled nature reserve with crystal clear waters. There are deep passages that can go until 80 meters in the cliffs that can be accessed only through the sea. It is a rocky area with some vegetation of coastal shrubs, anemones, chrysanthemums and poppies. It is a very good area for bird observation as there are many species of nature and migratory birds, such as pigeons, crows, owls, blackbirds and thrushes. It is a great area for further research as many marine fossils can be found there. In the sea bellow the caves, there are many marine species and during summer months many boats visit the area in order to explore the sea and the caves. People also use this area for diving.
