Troodos Mountains



   Troodos Mountains are located in the western side of Cyprus and is the largest mountain range of the island covering its 2/3. 



    Its name comes from the two Greek words (τρεις= three + οδοι=streets), as is the center and connection of three streets: Nicosia, Limassol and Proodromos.



    Troodos mountains have many different forests with a great distribution of species in bot flora and fauna. Also the greatest rivers of the island can be found in Troodos mountains.
