Nicosia

 

 

   Nicosia or locally known as 'Lefkosia' is the capital city of Cyprus and the largest one in population, located in the center of Cyprus.

   

   Since the Turkish invasion in 1974, Nicosia is divided in two, the occupied part and the non occupied part, and this makes it the only capital city in the world that its divided.
